When Martha J Millis died in High Point, NC in 1930, her daughter, Minerva Hedgecock, stated that Martha's parents were Brantley York & Susie Allred. Although there were many York/Allred marriages, I can't find any for Susie Allred & Brantley York. On the death certificates of several of Martha's children, they list Martha's maiden name as Allred. Martha & her parents were supposedly born in Randolph Co NC. Martha married Joseph Millis. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Thanks!
