I have been looking over these post and it seems you have a lot of information on the Overton TN Allreds, I keep coming back to this area and would love to see if you can help me put the puzzle together. My GGG grandfather is Isaac Allred who was born around 1817 in Ky. He shows up in Marion County Al in 1840 with James H Madison Allred (b1805 in KY) who I beleive is his brother. Isaac married Ellender Gregory and raised his family in Al. I saw his son James M Allred(1838) listed on the Allred DNA sheet as a match and I know his daughter Matilda Allred (1847) has indian blood from the picture I have. Does any of this ring a bell? I have come to a deadend with Isaac. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
