I,too, am researching Rachel Allred. I believe she is my GGGG Grandmother. John P. Webb and Rachel came to Missouri in 1814 and settled in what was then Washington County. According to a biography of their son, Harrison H. Webb in "History of Franklin, Jefferson, Washington, Crawford, and Gasconade Counties" by Goodspeed they moved to Missouri in 1814. Washington County was divided into several other counties and that placed John, Rachel and their children in Crawford County. They had eleven children. John and Rachel moved to Reynolds County, MO in 1841 where they spent the remainder of their lives. There are other Webb families in Ripley (later divided to form Reynolds County)and Reynolds Counties of Missouri during this time and I think they all are probably related. Webb Creek and Webb County in Reynolds County are named after the family. The children I know of are John Wesley (11/1/1824 - 3/3/1915)married Elizabeth Wilson 5/28/1827; William (abt 12/25/1818) married Lucy Greenlee; Harrison H. Webb (1/23/1815)married Emily Brickey; I believe but can't prove, Mary Ann (abt 1813) married John N. Brickey (my GGG grandparents). The family can be found on the 1830 Washington Co., MO census p. 70 and the 1840 Washington Co., MO census p. 346. If you find additional information on this family, please let me know.
