Andrew Allred was b. abt. 1800 in NC or TN. He mar. abt 1817 in TN to a Miss Roden. They came to Blount Co, AL abt 1818-20. Andrew's wife d. abt 1823-24. Andrew mar. again in 1827, Blount Co., AL to Letitia Yielding. Letitia d. abt 1839 and Andrew mar. 2nd to Delia Cox in 1843, Blount Co., AL. Andrew Allred and his family left Blount Co., in the 1850s and moved to Montgomery Co., AL. It is said that Andrew served in the Accounting Dept. in the state government. No proof has been found that this is true.
It has been suggested that this family left Montgomery Co., AL and moved south toward Troy, AL after 1870.
If anyone has any record of this family after 1870, I would appreciate hearing from you.
