Joyce, My husband is a descendant of Julia Ann Black and Lemuel Van Trump Turner Sr. I have found Julia's parentage, but can't find anything on her husband's. (Their son LVTT Jr. went by the name Van Turner, married Ellanora Fayette Nicholas). LVTT Sr. was born in VA, married in Marion Co. (1839) served in the Mexican war as Captian of Co. C 1st reg. and is said to have died 5/22/1849 after being discharged, while returning home from the war. Do you have any thing on him? (I also don't know who Ellanora Nicholas's parents were). Thanks, Donna Cary
