Thanks for writing, Steve. I was doing a report for an old friend who was one of Leonard Allman's granddaughters. I am going to send you a copy of the report I did because I may have been wrong about some things (judging from what you wrote). I thought the brother of Catherine and Elizabeth Allen was named Christian because I saw it that way on a census record. Of course we all know you can't go to court with the reliability of names on census records, but they're invaluable in other ways. You read it, and let me know. (There are other families on there, but the Allmans are toward the end of the 10 pages.
