I have the following family to find parents for. These siblings were listed together in a family bible:
1.William Allison, born March 24, 1794;
2.George Allison, born April 11, 1795.
3.John Allison, born March 31, 1797.
4.Robert Allison, born April 25, 1801;
5.Elijah M. Allison, born March 03, 1803.
6.Jonathan M. Allison, born March 13, 1805.
7.Elizabeth Allison, born January 02, 1807.
8.Esther Allison, born January 22, 1812.

l.Notes on: William (Lewis?) Allison, born March 24, 1794 in Wilkes County?,NC/SC/GA, then came to Mississippi.Died May 25, 1878 in Suwanee County, Florida; married Mary F. Crise April 21, 1814 in Madison County, Mississippi.Speculation:His father may have come from England (1796 date- check this) name used was also Ellison.]
He was born in Wilkes County, NC?(some conflicting information shows him as being born in SC- such as the 1860 census for Suwannee County,Fl.]. There was no Wilkes Co.SC- but there were Allisons in Wilkes County, Ga. which was originally larger & close to the SC border. Much evidence available there! He then lived in Kentucky. He fought in the War of 1812. By 1815 he was living in Alabama where all his children were born except the youngest, Humphrey David, who was born in 1842 or 43 in Mississippi. He Married Mary F.(Polly)Criss, who was born November 13, 1798 in Tennessee. They moved to Florida from Mississippi in 1858 when he was 65 with 9 of their 12 children, at least seven other families; and traveled by wagon train from Yalobusha County, Mississippi to Suwanee County, Florida. They traveled with at least six oxen drawn wagons, through Tallahassee; always stopping on Sunday's. They arrived before the birth of Alice Annette Allison 7 January 1859. His wife died there October 24, 1868, he died ten years later, May 23 or 25, 1878.
1860 census in Suwanee County, Fl. taken August 20, 1860 shows: William Allison, 66, Farmer, $1600 real estate, $700 personal estate, born in South Carolina. Mary, 62, born in Tennessee, Martha B. 21, born in Alabama; David H.L. , 17, farm laborer, born in Mississippi.
In a letter to his son, William Perry, William Allison mentions both Carollton and Yasoe City north of Yasoe County, Mississippi. The intervening county is now called Holmes. It looks as though they lived either in Holmes County or in Carroll County.
Court records of Coffeeville, Yalobusha County, Mississippi, 29 Oct. 1852: showed:
William Allison, aged 58, a resident of Yalobusha County was a private in the company of Captain Joseph Aklin (Acklin?) in the Alabama Militia in the war with Great Britain. In 1812 he was in an expedition against Creek Indians and served as a substitute in the place of Andrew Riley at Della's Landing near Huntsville, Alabama in or about 1813. He served about 3 months and was honorably discharged at Huntsville in late 1813. He made a declaration to obtain land to which he may be entitled under the act granting bounty land to officers and soldiers who were in the military service of the U.S., passed, Sept. 28, 1850.
1860 Suwannee Co. census shows William's occupation as farmer: with real estate holdings at $1600, personal property @ $700 and five slaves.
7TH REGIMENT (PERKINS' BATTALION) OF MISSISSIPPI MILITIA- Captain Joseph Acklen's Company (x) Allison, William, private; Allison, James, private
Fact:Burial: Antioch Baptist Church, Live Oak Florida.Military service: Private in the War with Great Britain.Occupation: Farmer6
His wife was Mary (Polly) F. Crise (Criss)
Fact: She is buried in Antioch Baptist Church cemetery in Live Oak, Florida next to her husband, William Allison. Her headstone showed that she was born Nov. 13, 1798 and died Oct. 24, 1868. Her name showed as Mary Criss (Different spelling than Crise). This may have been because it was written with the old fashioned double ss- which is written as a kind of 'p'. She may have had a brother named James T. Criss.
Her father was James Criss of Alabama who died in 1818 (not confirmed).
OTHER SIBLINGS WERE:
2.George Allison, born April 11, 1795.
3.John Allison, born March 31, 1797.
Notes for John Allison:
Family lore says he may have been hairlipped. He settled in Mississippi, then later moved to Louisiana then Florida. Came with William Allison to Florida. Could possibly be buried in Rixford Church Cemetery in Suwanee County, FLA.
4.Robert Allison, born April 25, 1801; married Sarah.
Notes for Robert Allison:
Had a farm near Live Oak and in the Rixford Settlement. Possibly where William Allison, his brother is buried because no one could ever find Williams' grave at the Rixford Church Cemetery.
5.Elijah M. Allison, born March 03, 1803.
6.Jonathan M. Allison, born March 13, 1805.
7.Elizabeth Allison, born January 02, 1807.
8.Esther Allison, born January 22, 1812.
So far, I have gathered tons of documentation about possible parents names including JOHN, ROBERT, WILLIAM as most likely- but no solid proof. IS ANYONE WORKING ON THESE OTHER SIBLINGS AND HAVE YOU FOUND ANY EVIDENCE OF PARENTS OF THESE SIBLINGS? Please contact me to share documentation. THANKS! Lynn
