Jim, You seem to have done a lot of research on the Allison family. I am hopeful that you may be helpful with a Robert Allison of Uwchlan Township in Chester County, PA, who died in 1796. Below are will abstracts for Robert and later his wife Mary (who's will is dated 1790). They both reference a daughter Rachel Phipps, but I have not figured out which Phipps this Rachel may have married. In Chester Co, from about the 1750's through the 1780's, the Allison family and the Phipps family appear to be connected in terms of neighbors, lands sales, and court records. Besides this daughter Rachel Allsion (who was married to a Phipps, first name yet unknown), their son Aaron Allison (who's will is dated 1819, died 1820 also in Chester Co, PA) had a daughter Anna, who also married a Phipps (first name also unknown). Do you have anything more about this Robert and Mary Allison or their son Aaron of Chester Co? I would like to know more about this family and understand more how they are connected with the Phipps family in Chester Co. Tim Phipps Will abstracts: ALLISON, ROBERT. Uwchlan. April 19, 1795.
