This is very helpful information, Jim. As you know, two male Allison descendants of your Gavin Allison are members of the Allison/Ellison DNA Project. If there are other male Allisons who think that you may descend from Gavin Allison of PA (1759-1838), but you aren't sure, you may join the Allison/Ellison DNA Project. If your DNA score matches the DNA scores of the two proven descendants of Gavin, you will have definite proof that you descend from Gavin also.
