Here's more complete information on John Allison:

John ALLISON, b. Sep. 5, 1765 Rockbridge Co., VA d. Sep. 1837 Marion Co., IN; mar. 1785 to Anna GRAY in Fayette Co., KY. Anna was b. 1761 in Nicholas Co., KY and d. Jan. 2, 1838 Marion Co., IN

John was the son of Charles ALLISON b. 1737, Lancaster, Co., PA; d. 1787, Bourbon Co., KY. Charles married Jane CAMPBELL (daughter of Alexander CAMPBELL) ca. 1763 in Augusta Co., VA.

Charles was the son of John ALLISON and Jean ? No further information available on them.
