Carol, I am related to Myra very indirectly. I have found to find my direct line I often have to go through siblings to figure out how it all fits. I first come upon Myra Weems listed in her neices Will. Her neice was Nancy English and she died at 18 years. Nancy's father, who was already deceased, was a brother to my GGG grandfather. Nancy's father was Nathaniel English and my GGG grandfather was John T. English. Both, as well as other relatives are mentioned in the Will. In the Will I assumed Myra's maiden name was Allison as well but just recently I have come upon a census record that, if correct, has her last name as Striplin. Her mother, originally an Allison, had remarried to a Striplin it appears, hence she is a half sister to the Allison's.
