Wife, Mary, born 11-1-1730, third daughter of John Kennedy, Shire of Galloway Scotland, Parish of Kirkmaddin, died in Potter township PA 6-6-1808. their son:
Archibald Allison Jr.,DOB 4-15-1761, Ireland. Died 5-3-1845. married Eleanor McCormick, 5-7-1789, DOB 1764 (?), Centre Co PA, died 1-27-1848 (maybe 24th?, age 84. their children:
George, dob 8-18-1792, died 9-28-1866
William, dob 4-5-1794
James, DOB 2-26-1796, died 9-18-1863 at N Liberty, Adams Ohio, married Margaret Hutchinson
Margaret, born 5-26-1797, died 5-12-1846 Union county. Married William Kelly Jr.
David DOB 5-22-1799, died 12-22-1877 Clinton county PA, married Lucetta McKibben
Mary, DOB 5-11-1801, died 9-27-1856 Adams Co OH
John born 11-22-1803, died 1-23-1844 near Trenton GA, married Mary Sutton about 1830 in IL, her death near Trenton Ga before 1844.
Jane, born 9-22-1805, death unknown, in Kansas, married Thomas Riley
Eleanor, born 2-8-1811, died unknows, married Dr. John Grossman, livining in Adams Co OH in 1883.
Archibald Jr. may have served in Col Kelly's PA Regiment of Militia in defense of the frontier. Archiblad Jr's brother was Matthew Allison, Centre Co PA. (all information from books & DAR record, no copies of original documents)
