Hi my name is George Allison I live in Glasgow Scotland.
The James Allison you refer to was born on 17th August 1798
at Westfield Farm at Mearns parish of Renfrew Scotland.
His father was James Allison farmer at MEARNS who was my
great,great,great, grandfather, his wife was Mary Watson
Janet Craig was born on the 25th JANUARY 1809.
Both died in Glasgow, James on the 25th January 1879 Janet
on the 3rd February 1888, both are buried in Mearns parish
church graveyard
