ALLISON - Argyleshire family>VA>NC >TN

Looking for any ALLISON families who may have come to America in early- to mid-1700s with a group of Argyleshire families belong to the Scottish Presbyterian Church. Could possibly have been in Mecklenburg, NC. My line eventually settled in or around Knox Co., TN by at least 1821, where my William P(ickens) married Sarah McKINNEY (McKINNISH) of the McKINNEY/RIGGIN/WEATHERS/RIVES families of Islay, Scotland and in Sussex and Surry Co., VA; Mechlenburg, NC; and maybe SC prior to moving to Eastern TN (Grainger, Knox, Roane). Some ALLISON given names are Daniel, Mary, Rebbeca, William, John, Albert, Hugh.

Please email with any information.

Thank you,
