Hi Renea! I'm just getting started on the Allison family. Allison's are my husbands' mom's family. So far I've got Robert Hatton Allison and wife Cynthia Leona (?). From the information I have managed to drag out of my mom-in-law, her father's name was James Alfred Allison, b 2/4/1912, in Tennessee; d 1/31/1987, in Florence, AL. His parents were Robert Hatton and Cynthia Leona. She did not know Granny's maiden name, though. So, I have my work cut out for me trying to dig up information here. She thought she knew where Granny and Pops were buried, but I've searched the cemetery in Athens three times and haven't found the grave site yet. I'll let you know if I find anything interesting.
