I', looking for more information and the family of James D. Allison born 1835 in Mississippi and married in Monroe Co MS to Virginia Augusta Williams 8 Oct 1864. I believe his parents were James and Martha Allison from Tennessee. They moved to Collin Co TX from Monroe Co. MS abt 1870.
The 1850 Monroe Co MS census reads:
James Allison age 59 born TN
wife Mary age 54 born TN
child Lafayette age 23 born AL
child Sarah age 21 born AL
child James age 18 born AL
child Mary age 15 born AL
child Almira age 11 born AL
Can anyone help me with this family?
They are my husband's great-grandparents.
