Find a copy of The Colonial Genealogist, Vol.IV, Number 4, Spring 1972. Pages 209-219. The title of the article is Lineage No. 41 (Part one). It was compiled and written by a Dorothy Mae Johns who was living in California at the time of publication.
The Abigail Allis whom was captured by Canadian Indians was the daughter of John Allis, the son of Lieutenant William Allis. If desired, keep in touch and we can compare notes. HH
