This may or may not help. I have been researching Alligood/Allegood/Ellegood/Elligood name for over 35 years. My branch is from eastern North Carolina and estimate that I have about 95+ percent of that branch. But I have limited info on others branches that settled in Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Kentucky and a few other States. In my limited Georgia info I show a Nancy Ellendor Allegood, born May 3, 1867 and died April 1, 1948 in Colquitt County, Georgia. She married a George Summerlin on December 5, 1887. This info is from the Odom Genealogical Library division of the Public Library in Moultrie, Georgia. The Allegood file. Hope this helps. I have her parents and siblings names but not much more.
