Through FamilySearch.org(Mormon Geneology website) you will find Allegood family name in Suffolk, England. The earliest date shown is 1630 for a Mare Allegood.
Interspersed among the numerous Allgood family names originating in England are Allegood, Algood and Alegood.
Because of the similarity of the names Allegood and Alligood to the more widely found Allgood, it would seem logical that Allegood and Alligood names originated from Allgood.
Any information linking these names would be most appreciated by me.
