I am looking for information about the children of William Allgood (b. abt 1758) and his wife Sarah Royal (b. abt. 1762). There are a dozen different listings of his family on the Internet and some of them are logical but with no facts to back them up.
I have traced our family up to a Peter Allgood who was the only Allgood family living in Illinois in the 1840 census. Some people have him the son of William and Sarah, he and his brother Royal were born one year apart, if Royal was his brother. I have checked out the entire census but that does not give me enough information to make a match for William and son Peter.
If you have any given facts that might help me I would be in your debt.
