William Allgood was my 3xgreatgrandfather and he was born in Sywell, Northants in 1783. His parents were William (a farmer) and Eleanor Allgood (maiden name unknown). Their other children as far as I know were: Katherine, Sarah, Ann (there were 2 Ann's as the first one died) James and I think another was called Ellen (I'll have to check my file).
I am sure that one of the daughters married a Laundon but I have not come accross the name Amelia.
William (born 1783) ran The Artichoke from about 1821, the current landlord sent me some info on the history of the pub and I think the Laundon's ran it before the Allgood's did.
I will dig through my file and refresh my memory for you!
