Your information regarding Ancel Allgood was very interesting. The Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery in Alabama lists "Pinkney Allgood" which we have taken to be Ancel Pinkney "Mooch" Allgood 1847-1909. But I was still confused and never 100% sure of his identity. Do you have any children for this couple? I have 3 children for Ancel Pinkney: Mary Jane, Joel, and James Alexander Allgood. I would be very interested in clearing up these facts. His father Alvin evidently moved to Alabama before 1850 because in the SC 1850 Census Ancel and his brother Alexander are listed with both sets of their grandparents.
