Allgood in GA state senate--1860's

There was an Allgood whose district included Polk Co. serving in the GA State Senate in the 1860's. Sen. Allgood was one of the few in the Georgia Senate who voted against secession when GA seceded from the Union.
Can anyone tell me Sen. Allgood's full name and help me with a little biographical info on him? (I live in Baltimore now, but I grew up at Rockmart GA, knew Lawrence Allgood and his late brother Tom, who were descendants of the Allgoods buried at Allgood Methodist Church in Paulding Co.)
