My father-in-law's great grandfather was Job B. Allgood who married Saphronia A. Dial prior to 1860. Their 1st child was John David Allgood born Aug 4, 1860. Job B. Allgood enlisted on Feb 28, 1862 in Co. G 35th Ga Inf Regt, he died in Oct 1862 in Winchester, VA, two months before his second son was born, Job W. Allgood. Suspect that Job B. Allgood is a son of John P. Allgood, but only have census material to support this speculation, specifically the 1860 census. Any help on the Allgoods would be appreciated.
