My mother was Della Mae Allgood, born March 4, 1907 in Boydton, Virginia. Her father was Richard Franklin Allgood, (born Aug 24, 1878 and died June 22, 1950). He was married to Annie Delle Hendrick (born Sept 18, 1887 and died May 17, 1965). Richard's father was William Allgood and mother was Susan E. Newby or Nubia. I haven't been able to verify their marriage in Virginia so it is possible that they came from another state. If you have any info on these people, please contact me.
