I live just over the hill from Marion Co., in Rhea Co. TN. My gggf was James Rankin b 18 Jul 1809 d 5 Jan 1871 m 30 Sep 1841 Jane Alley b 2 Aug 1825 d 1 Mar 1880. Children: William m Mary Stewart, John, David E. m Elizabeth E. Bridgeman, Alexander m Mary Elizabeth Curtis, Carrie (died young), Nannie m Wm Cordell, Mattie m George Taylor, Elizabeth, James Valentine b 5 Dec 1865 d 9 Sep 1938 m 26 Dec 1888 Margaret Levan.

Children of James V. (my ggf) Roy Alley (my gf) b 23 Sep 1889 d 8 Aug 1966 m Eva Lee Dagley, James Milton b 16 Jul 1891 d 6 Sep 1951, Elizabeth Jane b 21 Oct 1894 d 10 May 1972 m Oliver Jackson Cagle, Virgie Lee b 2 Sep 1896 m Luther Hurd, Mary Vivian b 25 Sep 1898, George Morgan 23 Sep 1900 m Lillian__, John Walter b 4 Sep 1902 m Jane __, Harry Lee b 16 Sep 1904 d 7 May 1960 m Bertha Clifton, Robert McGinness (Doc) b 14 Jan 1907 d 13 Sep 1987, Leslie Leonard b 2 Jan 1907 d 21 Jan 1910.
