Hello Forum,
My G-G-grandmother was Martha Ann Alley, daughter of Willis Alley & Martha (Patsy) Cato. My G-G-grandfather was Andrew Jackson Baldwin. I have their Bible, and it lists a lot of births and deaths ETC. But there is one note in there that intrigues me and I haven't been able put it aside. It reads:
" Rena Bell Alley was born June 14th
1887. Bound to A.J. Baldwin July 31st
1894, until she is 18 years of age."
Willis Alley and Martha Cato had to following children:
Eliza (Milligan) (Married Name)
Matilda (Reynolds)
Betsey (Pittman)
Martha Ann (Baldwin)
Mary (Reynolds)
Levina (Martin)
Francis Marrion Alley. (Male Heir)
Francis Marrion Alley Died 8 Sep 1893, and I have records showing him having only one son, Francis Jr. So, Who's Rena ? Can anyone help ?
