Sorry it's taken so long for me to post a response. Work has been keeping me pretty busy and I haven't been able to check my mail at night and work on what I love best--genealogy. The Thomas I have, the son of David and Urseda/Ursley Branham Alley, was born in 1830. A lady I have been in lots of contact with believes he was born in 1832 or 1836. Either way, they're all very close. I have, also, that he married Rebecca Williams. As a matter of fact, I have a copy of their marriage certificate if you would like it. I only show they had 3 children but I could be way off there. I noticed that a very nice lady wrote to you concerning Thomas' date of birth. She said she had his date as 1818 and that he was married to Rebecca Yates. The child of David and Ursley who was born in 1818 that I have is Turner Alley. He also married a Rebecca Yates in 1841 and they had 7 children. Sounds like they're one and the same. I'll have to write to her and see what we can come up with.
The lady who believes Thomas' dob was 1832 or 1836 also sent me copies of land grants. The Alleys and Branhams were there alot. I printed them out to hard copy but they're hard to read but some are legible. I'll look in my files for them. Let me know if you would like those as well.
