"Alley Ancestors" Va P. 54 lists a James William Alley, b 1862 in Tazewell Co. with a brother John W. However, James W is shown to marry a Niola Nucholls. Same last name, but different spelling, and different first name. If this is the correct James W, his parents were William Asa Alley, b. 1816 and Angeline Hedrick, b. 1827. They married in 1844. It may or may not be what you are looking for.
