From a recent trip to New Zealand, where my 3xGreat Aunt, Margaret WARD (nee JULIAN) is buried:
Margaret's son James married Matilda ALLEY in 1860. Their children were Charles George, born 1861; Lucy Jane, born 1863; Frances Alley, born 1869; and at least two other children. We suspect that one of Margaret's daughters, Sarah, married Matilda's brother John, but do not know the number or names of any children aside from one daughter, Amy Jane (MULCOCK).
I visited the Christchurch library while I was there, and found the following on the ALLEY line:
St. Paul's Churchyeard, Papanui:

John ALLEY, d 14 Feb 1869, a 34. Also Sarah, his wife, b 8 May 1839, d 9 Nov 1913. Also their daughter, Amy Jane MULCOCK, 1868-1944.
Waimairi Cemetery, Christchurch:

Frederick James ALLEY, 1866-1936
(Area 2, Row W)
Philip John ALLEY, d 12 May 1978 a 76, husband of Sylvia
And...
Linwood Cemetery, Chirstchurch
(Area 7, Row J, all beside one another)
Matilda WARD, a 72
Verne Julian WARD, a 23
Frances Alley WARD, d 27 July 1950
I also visited all the cemeteries, but was unable to locate any of the graves due to vandalism, disrepair, and pouring rain.
