I am great, great, grandson of Mark Dempsey and Lucinda Alley married 1852 in warfield.
I am descended from his son Lewis dempsey
her parents were William Alley and mother Violet Akers I believe thet came from Virginia. perhaps he met her in Logan Virginia now known as West virginia because this was where mark was from. Please get in touch
