These ALLEYs were written up in my wife's aunt's book "Colonials & Kindred" by Bonnie Jeffers Rokas, 1984. A Herbert Alley [Miles, Abraham, Henry] settled in Robertson county in the early 19th century and with his wife Polly had at least 13 children: John, Desire B., Isaac, David K., E.A., Mary, C.A., Middy, W.J., Nathan J., D.R., Emily and Nancy.
