Hi my name is Kelli. I have been trying to get information on Susan Alley d/o Turner and Rebecca Yates Alley. She is my great-grand mothers mother. She was married to William Henry Sparks. In the 1880 Census their names were mispelled. They were listed as Hill H. Sparhs, Susan Sparhs and sons William T(turner after her father) and Andrew. On the same census page was her Brother David and wife and kids and their younger sister mary. We have always been told that Susan Alley died two weeks after she gave birth to my great grand mother Armilda Sparks(risner). Susan was bitten by a rattlesnake while gathering eggs. Armilda was sent to be raised by her grand mother Louisa Blevins Sparks and William Henry Remarried. I have been searching for almost a year for information on her. She had to have died in Aug/Sept of 1892 because that is when my great grandmother was born and she also had a daughter Elizabeth born 1890 or 1891
