Concerning the David Alley that was the son of James Alley, Sr. - David K. Alley, according to the census records, was born 1768-70, a son of James Alley, Senr. He died before 14 Nov 1838 in Franklin Co., Ind. He was married ca 1795 to Jane Unknown, born 1777 and died before 26 Oct 1874 in Franklin County. David K. Alley was a surveyor.
