Hi, George Washington Alley and Numartha Ellen Brackney were the parents of my paternal grandfather, Joseph Elmer Alley, b 18 May 1877, Henry Co, MO, d 12 Dec 1962, Jackson Co., MO. Ellen Brackney, the second wife of George Washington, died in 1879, Randolph Co., KS, while giving birth to their second son, Prior, who also died.
Joseph Elmer Alley m Verdie May Temple on 5 Oct 1904, Jackson Co., MO; and they had nine children, eight of which lived to adulthood. They are as follows:
