According to EARLY OSBORNES AND ALLEYS, Hosea was the son of James, (b. abt. 1728 possibly in Henrico county, d. between November 1798 and 26 March 1799) and Christian or Christiana ALLEY. [I think her SURNAME was CHRISTIAN because in 1748 Thomas A. Alley deeded land in Henrico county to son, Thomas. That land is bounded on one side by the property of Charles CHRISTIAN]James is named as son of Thomas A. ALLEY.
