I forgot to post here that my Uncle Howard Eugene Alley has had a book published called "Presumed Dead, A Civil War Mystery". It is about alot of the North/South Carolina Alleys and is a true story about Col. John Haywood Alley and his family during and after the Civil War. It's not a long book but very interesting.
