Happy New Year Nissa,

I just notice a posting you made 8/15/98 regarding your Thomas, Thomas A., James L., etc. Alley. I just recently learned that I am connected to that family way, way back. It seems that a NANCY ALLEY married ELIJAH MITCHELL (d c1838), probably in Henrico County, VA. They were my ggg grandparents. Their daughter, NANCY MITCHELL (1798 -c1862), married ANDERSON UNDERWOOD (c1795 - 16 Jan 1846) on Dec 23, 1813 in Barren County, KY. Nancy Mitchell was born in Henrico County, VA. Does any of this ring any bells for you? I would dearly love to contact someone who has a handle on the Alley family and Henrico Co., VA.
