That sounds good to me. I have word of Thomas V. Alley and His brother William (my ancestor)Sons of John Alley b. 1740 who went to Missouri before it was Missouri,around 1777,and then to Texas in 1820's. so the V may stand for 5 and not a name beginning with the letter V. What do you think? (William's wife was Sarah.)LaVerne
