My husband is a descendant of John Aly born in Tennessee on Feb. 18, 1817. Married Agnes Cole in Green Co. TN on Sept. 25, 1838. Had their first two children before leaving Monroe Co. TN in 1848 to come to Texas. We can't find a connection to John's parents. There is a John and Margaret Aly born in Virginia who is in TN at same time our John is. Could we be related somehow? Would like to talk to other Aly, Ailey, Aley families.
