It turns out that my relatives who told me her name was "Emma" were mistaken - actually her name was Amy E. Alley, which I discovered when I checked her daughter Victoria's death certificate. Amy was born 5/29/1848, and married Hiram Clark on 5/15/1876 in Floyd Co., KY. Amy's parents were Simeon Alley of Floyd Co., KY and Edith Sturgill of Scott Co., VA. Amy d. 3/13/1934.
