1766 Tax List, Amelia Co., Va. John Allen

A John Allen was on tax list of 1766 Amelia Co., Va. associated with a Benjamin Bridgforth. I have a Malone family from same area who died in 1791 Northampton Co., NC, wife was Milly Bridgforth he had married in 1762 (Robert Malone-Elizabeth Bridgforth) and his will states he wants to carry on the suit of heirs of John Bridgforth. Important that Robert and Milly had a son "John Allen Malone". Their children went to Georgia, residing in Baldwin Co., Ga. where Mildred Malone died in 1821, her son, Charles Admr. of her estate. His will in 1836 left lot of land "in Indian Springs" to his brother, John Allen Malone. Any connections?

Robert Malone's father died 1771/2 Northampton Co., NC but associated also with Dupee/Dupuy family, possibly a daughter or sister Elizabeth had married a Peter Dupuy a desc. of
Bartholomew Dupuy. Other associations with him/his children with Ferguson/Farguson/Brooks families.
