Looking for any information on John J. Allen (no dates) and wife Catherine Brown (born TN about 1859. She is listed on the 1910 Davidson Co., Nashville, TN Federal Census. Her husband not shown on census and could be deceased. Her sons shown on this census are: 1. J.Brown Allen, age 25 (1885), born TN, working on railroad. 2. Thomas B. Allen, age 22(1888) born TN, foreman for railroad. 3. John J. Allen age 17 (1892), born TN. Sons Thomas B. and John J. Allen both worked in Clark Co., NV as locomotive engineers. John J. Allen by 1930 was working the same job in Los Angeles Co., CA. Death record for J. Brown Allen who died in 1916 in Nashville, TN, states his father is John J. Allen and his mother, Catherine Brown. Son John J. Allen married Mary J. Wilson about 1931 in L.A. Co., CA. Can anybody shed more information on John J. Allen and wife Catherine Brown who lived in the Nashville, TN area? Thanks for any help.
