Chris,
I am grasping at straws as I try to figure out my tri-racial line of WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN of SC,NC,VA,RI,
NS,MN,NY,CT et al.
The HAZARD/HAZZARD surname somehow connects to my line, and
I find it connected to RI Native Indians.
Have yet to look into the ALLEN SURNAME.
What is of most interest in your post is the mention of TOMPKINS and NY-----know that the TOMPKINS surname connects
to my WHILDEN line somehow.
Contact me if of interest, please.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
