I have an original 3-1/2”x2-1/2”” photograph of “Murray Allen”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in Ogden (Weber Co.) UT, and he looks to be about age 25.

I found Murray Baynham Allen in WWI Draft Registrations, showing he was totally blind, and his birthdate was 21 April 1886. Ancestry OneWorldTree shows he was son of Charles W. Allen and Lottie Medhall, and that Murray married Elgiva Thurman. 1920 Ogden, UT census shows Murray Allen, age 35, and Elgiva at age 42. Both were teachers at the State School for the Deaf and Blind. 1930 Salt Lake City census shows that they had been married 12 years.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to Murray Baynham Allen.
