Gail:

I made an attempt to find your Harvey Alcorn/Allcorn on the census records, but came up empty, nor do I find an Allis/Alice born about 1855. Evidently they are going by another name, either a middle name, or nickname . A lot of families do that , I have found. Can you give more clues to where they might have been in a certain census year? When did Lela marry, and where? After 1870 perhaps?

Howard Boswell
