I've look for my Allerdyce roots since 1997 with little luck. But that has change just in this month. In December I found my gr gr grandmother Rosetta A.(Townsend) Allerdyce 1848 - 1916(wife of Alexander Allerdyce)in the Forest Home Cemetery,Luce County, Newberry, Michigan records. There were two other Allerdyce in the the same records, James G. 1886 - 1952 and Ethel D. 1896 - 1969.

I also found Alexander in the U.S. Census:

Michigan, Wayne County, 1870
Michigan, Clare County, 1880
Michigan, Emmet County, 1910
Michigan, Luce County, 1920

I have yet to find the Allerdyce family in the 1900. I do know that they lived some where in Alexander and Rosetta's A. daughter Rosetta M. was shown to be born in Mecosta County, Michigan.

I have more information that at this time I'm still verifying. I will working on the rest of the information that I have as of now.

If anyone could have me find the Allerdyce family in the 1900 Michigan. Counties that I know they lived in were Clare, Luce, Emmet. They may have been living in Mecosta or Isabella Counties.
