Your ancestors are not as recently migrated to North America as some of ours. We are all related!! But the branch wanders more in Scotland for some than for others. My advice to you is to contact Jim Allerdice (his e-mail is on this forum) and see if he can direct you. There are several Allardyce (that spelling) living in Scotland now.
Jim has a great handle on our family and I feel that he can help you more than anyone else. At least he will know what direction to point you.
