My Grandmother, Mary Ann Allardyce was born in 1896 Rhynie, Aberdeenshire. Her parents were James Allardyce b. 1853 and Margaret Ferries b. 1855. Have no clue where in Scotland. James Allardyce's parents were William b. 1817 we believe, and Maconochie (Maconoche, Maconnoch - I am not sure on the spelling) She died in 1900 in Rhynie. They were married 10-17-1846 we think in Coldstone. Again, we are not sure as to where in Scotland they were born but my Father, who was born in Aberdeen, is positive they were born in Scotland.

I appreciate the help!

Carol Allan
