According to Violette Allaire in Les Familles Allaire et Dallaire, Ambroise Allaire married Elisabeth Cadot, daughter of Isidore Cadot and Veroniqe Dumont on 2/27/1898 at St.
Roch de l'Achigan. They had Felicite who married Narcisse Marsolet-Lemire son of Salomon et Judith Gareau on 2/11/1833 in the same church.
Ambroise above married (2)Agathe Guilbeault daughter of Francois et Catherine-Amable Marceau on 2/6/1826 (same church). They had Ambroise m Marie Hubous-Delongchamp.

The above Ambroise(1) was son of Etienne
Allaire and Francoise Betrand who had to have been married before 1787 since their son Charles was baptized there on 6/26/1787.
Etienne was son of Basile Allaire who married 2/18/1760 at Ste-Rose (Laval) Francoise Charles-Clement daughter of Antoine
and Francoise Beaumont.
Basile was the son of Joseph who married 5/22/1719 at Par. Notre-Dame, Montreal Marie-Josephte Descarries, daughter of Michel
et Marie Cuillerier.
Joseph(brother of my ancestor) was the son of
Jean II Allaire wh married 4/28/1688 at Baie St-Paul (Charlevoix) Francoise Simard, daughter of Noel Simard et Madeline Racine.
Jean II Allaire was son of Jean I Allaire who married 12/12/1662 Perrine Terrien, daughter of Andre et Marguerite LeRoussy.
Jean I Allaire was son of Sebastien Allaire who married 1/24/1629 at St-Philbert-du-Pont-Charrault in Canton Chantonnay, Vendee, France Perrine Florisson, daughter of Rene Florisson
Sebastien Allaire was son of Guillaume Allaire.
Jean I and his brother Charles were the original immigrants.
So the Etienne that you asked about cannot have been born in 1744 since his parents were not married until 1760.
There are other Etienne Allaires in the book but this is the only one who married Francoise Betrand and had Ambroise.
